"Beautiful seafood! Go there, skip the potatoes and the deserts just order another plate of anything fresh out of the Atlantic. A la plancha is always better than fried. Sit inside if you don’t get one of the few tables outside. The food is heavenly. Be nice to the people and they will be very nice to you."

"Orella is an absolute must-visit in Santiago de Compostela! We were blown away by the delicious Galician cuisine. The staff was incredibly attentive and welcoming, making for a truly wonderful dining experience. The prices were very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. You absolutely have to try the pig ears and the small scallops, they are sensational and a true highlight of the menu."

"The best razor clam I’ve tried in my life. This restaurant was not for visitors. I saw many local people there. The staff didn’t show much hospitality to us. (But not rude or impolite) Anyhow, it didn’t matter. The food was good there."

"We lucked out again, getting a table at 8 just before a rush of people showed up and filled the place up. What a feast: we had caldo Gallego, garlic shrimp, chipirones, calamari, salad, and pimientos padron...and torta Santiago for dessert. Best calamari and chipirones of our Camino, service was fast but pleasant."
